Make a Difference in Your Town
A CFL (Compact Fluorescent Lamp) fundraiser provides an opportunity to educate children, their parents, relatives and the community about the benefits of energy-efficient lighting, while returning funds for your organization. Participants will be pleased to learn CFLs use about 75 percent less energy than standard incandescent bulbs and last up to 10 times longer, providing significant energy-cost savings and environmental benefits. CFL users can “save the planet,” as well as their wallets, one SpringLight at a time.
It's Simple
Instead of selling candy bars or magazines by going door to door, now kids can sell SpringLights - or CFLs for short. The customer can choose from three products: a 14 watt CFL (60 watt incandescent equivalent), a 23 watt CFL (100 watt incandescent equivalent), or a 50 count strand of LED holiday lights. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in your town! Not only are you funding your project, but reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions in your community.
